I picked up another box of pennies today and figured id get a box of dimes as well.
I found (2) 1970 Dimes with no S on it.

Are these legit? or just common.

Common stuff there my man... You shouldn't find an S mint dime, unless its silver....1955 was the last year those came out... if you find a clad S mint dime, it escaped from a proof set. Be on the lookout for an R. S. Yeomans' Red Book.

Thanks Dave. I was excited for a moment there.
Oh Boo hoo, now I feel dumb. Oh well it was a moment of happiness for awhile. I can now say that box of dimes was a dead skunk.

There's a vast difference between dumb and stupid...

One learns by his mistakes and the other is a mistake...

Thanks Stefen, I just bought the R. S. Yeomans red book as Big Wave Dave suggested. Its time to read up on this stuff, cause im sure some people arent as friendly as you all when it comes to being new. You learn something new everyday until you die, for life is an ever learning process where we adapt, grow and evolve from.

My day is always complete if I can learn just one thing, regardless how trivial....

Yea, like today,.... learned that my fat sister-in-law has an eating disorder.... like...duh.

If I may ask, why did you think the 1970 was something special?
