didnt find much but it was a GREAT day out with the MD'er
how can it be a great day treasure hunting when you dont find much? i'll gladly explain...
the park i was at has an old foundation from an old house on it. a bunch of latin girls (looked like maybe 19-25 year olds) dressed in what looked like traditional african dress showed up along with another girl (that didnt look like a girl) with a very large format camera, a bunch of weird stuff that looked like santeria stuff and some dude that qualified 100% for the santero title. the girls setup an start taking pics on the steps of the foundation of the house. all the girls had very long dresses.
i was curious to see what was going on so i meander my way to get a look at the girl on the steps and see whats going on. well.... little misses on the steps was very attractive and was not sitting in a very lady like fashion considering she was wearing a skirt. she had what looked like a wash basin on her lap for the picture. in order to accomodate the wash basin she had to... well.. you get where i'm going here.
it was broad daylight, in a public park and they werent even somewhere secluded. they were smack in the middle of the park! being that obviously she didnt seem to mind the added attention, i made sure i found every single coin in that area!
see... you dont always have to find good stuff to have a great day out metal detecting!!!
