Didn't need to dig dirt to find GOLD today !

Got up early this morning to got with my son Carson and enter his 1971 Plymouth Duster in the big Mopar show . After we checked in we were walking around looking at all the beautiful cars when on the ground I saw something golden . I picked it up and said to Carson that it looked like gold . Well once we got home I did the acid test and it is 14K gold :hello2:

. It's part of a bangle bracelet . It only weighs 2.53 grams but I'll take easy gold any day :laughing7:

. As for the car show , Carson won 1st place in his category :headbang:

. It was one great day !

Hey, congratulations to Carson on winning with his beautiful Duster Glen! :occasion14:

Man is he ever getting tall, the last pic I saw of him was when you took the family to a cabin in the mountains a few years ago.

Congrats to the old man for finding gold... and without the detector too! :laughing7:

Take care buddy,
Dave

He is crazy tall for his age . He turned 15 in February and is 6 feet tall and weighs 230 !!! The football coach loves him ! He will have old dad beat with one more inch !

That Duster brings a tear to my eye. I got my license in '76. My first car was a '72 Duster with the cheesy-but-dependable slant-six. It was a hotrod in my eyes!
