Well the area found was definitely known for its trading (found a number of trade silver pieces there last year). The picture on the blue glass is of a girl... Excellent detail. There are initials P.K.P. on the glass as well. Super excited!!

Not a Girl...LOL. It's a bloke with a wig, very fashionable in the 17th C.

Look at images of Charles I & Charles II.

Your probably right, but after looking closer at the dainty nose, longer than normal hair/wig, and the largest bust I have seen on a bust, that is one cute bloke LOL.

I need more pictures of the underneath of the bezel, cleaned up side shot etc...
Can't be sure if its 17th C, 18th C, or early 19th C?

That's a killer ring! Please do melt some wax and show us a stamp.

Congrats.

OK, pretty sure we can rule out 17th C. Looks more late 18th C.

. 18th century? I like to hear that...as I thought it was old costume jewelry (sad but true). I hate to say it but the Jesuit ring in the picture above (with the trade silver) was in my 4 year olds toy box for about a year...until we saw an identical one in a local museum.
