Diggin' Fool-

Whew! I haven't been out much lately so when I had the chance today, I didn't let it go to waste. In a couple hours, here's what came out!

A Teddy Roosevelt token of some sort... 2 canadian pennies...2 Wheaties... A bus token.... A silver yin/yang earring... and a Genuine Buck Knife!

Next is 43 cents

Then 2 nickels A clock gear of some sort ID tag from Fairbanks, Morse and Co, Chicago

5 dimes- 1 1960 silver Set of keys... (who could lose something this huge?)

3 quarters A rusted out drill bit a .22 case

Oh yeah, and the usual pouch full of bottle caps...

I think I goofed on the Buck knife, after carefully cleaning the outside, I opened it up and that doesn't look like rust on the blade! :-\ :-[

Re: Diggin' Fool-

A new park (to me). Its actually quite old, the University area down here in Eugene. First time I've been there. A lot of the cents and most of the bottlecaps came from Monroe park down here, earlier in the day.

Cool! I hunted in Eugene once, but it was about 25 years ago and I don't remember what I found... ::)

Re: Diggin' Fool-

It's rare to find a pocket knife that actually can be opened,
must not have been there too long. Great haul of stuff, congrats on the silver dime too. Thanks for sharing the picture!

Smiles!

If you think it is blood on the knife you might consider turning it in to police. Tell them you want it back after analysis.

Re: Diggin' Fool-

Yeah, I was thinkin' about turning it in... probably still will. Only thing is, I wiped down the outside with a scrubbing pad, cleaning it up, before I opened it! :P

Oh yeah, I forgot to add a little silver ring, too. I left it in the van... nothing too fancy though. thanks all!
