All of my half dollar veins are tapped out! I still pick up whatever loose and CWRs that I can find. I am finding 3-4 40%ers a month.

My new goal is 2-3 dime boxes a day, 6 days a week. Hopefully I will find 15-20 silver dimes a week.

So far:
Sunday
Box #1 - 2 FDRs
Box #2 - 3 FDRs
Monday
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 1 FDR
Tuesday
Box #1 4 FDRs and 1x1968 Canadian (50% Ag)
Box #2 1 FDR
Box #3 1 Merc (1944)
Wed
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 skunk
Thurs
Box #1 shunk
Box #2 2 FDRs
Box #3 shunk

Totals: 14 US silver dimes and one 50% Canadian dime

Has it ever occurred to you that since you live on the east coast, you just won't see as many denver minted coins?

I see ALL kinds of D mint dimes, I was joking about someone hording all the 2009 D dimes. Im sure someone has a few rolls or taking them out if they come across it while hunting dimes. The point is there is soo few of them, finding one is almost more rewarding than finding silver...

$4000 in dimes may seem like a lot but it is not. The amount of circulating dimes is in the hundred billions.

Something must be going on with the 2009-P&D dimes, cuz I've been pulling them for the past 4-years, but until very recently been only able to get about 4 or 5 per box. Just last night, checking out two dime boxes, got 3 in one box, and zero in the second. Mintages are very low if I recall, 48-mil on the P and 98-mil on the D, vs billions in the surrounding years.

98 Mil on the P, 48 mil on the D...

I wouldn't call the mintages on the 2009 dime very low.
The mintage on the 1940 D and S are in the 40 million range and those coins are still not worth more than face (75 years later) unless in EF or better condition.
The RELATIVE mintage was low but they are not a rare coin.
The early Jefferson nickels with low mintages that are worth something, have much lower mintages
Plenty of pre1960 Jefferson nickels had mintages between 10 and 20 million and aren't work anything over face, 50+ years later.

Wednesday
Dimes CWR $365: 1956D, 1961D, 1964D
