I don't want to reveal 'too much' but I did find something very unique and i may be seeking a partner to snatch up the cache..

I'm not a hobbyist I do not have gear such as sonar or quality detectors etc.. some of you do..

There are ropes hanging from the trees. This area has an ancient stone structure and controllable waterfalls(yes, engineered to control river direction, I have played with the mechanism). It is not on any map... even maps from the 1800's have it ripped out or crossed out with a pen..

Clue: this was a secret meeting place for historical figures.

I found a carving of a giant 10 foot skull,a javelina image riddled with bullet holes, dozens of faces and arrows, letters and upsidedown words as well as runic writings.. much much more ;-)

Signs show that it is 100% untouched and unexplored.
No one know except for me... construction is creeping in it's direction and i need to grab it before they find it.

Since ya posted this in the New Member Introductions Forum - let me be the fist to say Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting your state for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

Welcome to TNet from Texas. Hope you find whatever you're looking for.

Welcome, and hope you got something there.
You didn't say what state, only story I know of, from 1st and 2nd hand accounts is, about a 2 days hike from Camp David, there is something to be found. Don't know what direction, though, as the discovery was made decades ago, and the original finder was never able to find his way back to it.

Good luck and keep us informed.

Welcome from NE Ohio.

Welcome to TNET!

Interesting first post. Have you talked to any of the folks out on Oak Island?
