One of the first things I "removed from the ATP was the strap that goes on the arm cuff! To me it was just another thing to deal with when putting the machine down to dig a hole. Are there any advantages to using one?

I have NEVER used the strap on any of my MD's rks.

I am the odd ball out; I do.

I do too.. BUT you know what' I just tried it without
and it works just fine! There really is no reason for it.
I'm going to try without it for a while now and see how it goes!

THANKS RK! hahah

I think that he ATP is lighter than my XLT so that may make a difference but I use mine when doing a long hunt. My wrist doesn't get nearly as sore or tired. Short hunts or spots with a lot of targets I don't.

Im with ya if its just a short hour or so no I dont use it but if its a Long hunt ya i do it does put the preasure on the forearm instead og ur wrist

I use mine. As said before, I feel like it puts the weight on my forearm instead of my wrist. I just adjust it at the beginning of every hunt so I can easily slip in and out of it for digging, but still snug enough for the support.

I look at mine every time I go out....but have yet to put it on :dontknow:

I use mine, but not how you would think. I have mine adjusted to where it is folded back inside the arm rest with about a quarter to half inch of air gap under it so it acts like a cushion against my arm between the arm rest and my arm. Just seems more comfortable to me that way.

Never use it.

Never used it. Would take long to remove my arm each time if I did. I do like the idea of possibly using it in water.
