Do Garrett detectors have a way of updating operating software?

Just wondering if any changes have been made to new ATpros over the older ones and if so is there a way to update the software?

When you say software upgrades remember not all detectors are the same because of various components being the same. They don't "upgrade" them like your cell phone, they trade out guts for different guts. So your hot detector might really be dumbed down to a so so. We can only hope for the best.
