That's George Harrison & Jeff Lynne in there; MUST be the Traveling Wilburys...Petty was with 'em. LOVE the song; theme song for me as Para-Legal.

Rebel,

They sure were a lively bunch, when they were all together.

Makes me think they all must have really had a blast, writing,

recording, and performing together, what Great FUN!... :sunny: :fish:

Thanks for the comment, Para Legal, Hmmn, you still doin it? :cross:

YW; I gave info to several lawyers about the American with Disability(ies) Act (ADA) and Virginians with Disability(ies) Act (VDA); I was trained, and with HUVA (Handicaps United of Virginia). A few of us (with Disabilities) flew to St. Louis, MO to "craft' the ADA in early 80's... folks from ALL over USA were there. Returning to Virginia, we "crafted" the VDA. Independent Living MOVEMENT was BIRTHED... CIVIL RIGHTS for persons with DISABILITIES! NOT doing much, today; if lawyers call... I answer. Wife is also Para-Legal... and was a Probation Counselor & JUDGE for Juvenile Correction. BTW, we met at the MAX Security Prison in Virginia, where I was Treatment Programs Supervisor/Top Administrator on Duty (Acting WARDEN); she was Corrections Counselor (Adult Institution).
TW: Lynne, Harrison, Petty, Dylan, Orbison WERE great; got ALL their LP's... HA! WHAT are LP's...?

25 year anniversary A.D.A. signing. Thank you for your input Reb.:hello2:
I understand much of your effort is elsewhere but here's some chair ramblings.
Far to go yet,far to go. We have it good here compared to many third world countries though. Possibly tens of millions short on proper or any chairs.

Working on buying a rough rider chair from whirlwinds outfit that not long ago parted ways with the university they were tight with so long.
A kidney punch of sorts requiring change, but Ralf has made a difference in many lives. And in places that shows a disabled person is a person regardless of where they live.
A man going into countries around the world with purpose of helping disabled help themselves and others.(Ralf Hotchkiss).
Due to that change instead of a chair being sent to a country/person there that needs it with each chair sold, now it's a half a chair,or two sold one donated.
Donating chairs is not the real goal though. Many donated chairs sit broken or unusable. A big reason for the roughriders design with vast input, not a Rube Goldberg committee but from users that build and the college and ...nations of users.
A recipient in need ponies up at least something as a means of being vested. The whirlwind chair is not delivered till proper fit is established on size and chairs are more suited for environment and availability of parts in places resources are scarce, particularly bearings.
Most bike mechanics can deal with any repairs beyond users scope though chairs are designed to be commonly maintainable.
Whirlwind Wheelchair - Who What & Why

Like yourself his awareness created inputs action.
One mans efforts yielding fruit long after original input.
Combined; making even greater difference.
A difference that can be a real treasure when mobility is regained for some.
A difference when disabilities are recognized as simply; a difference.
Varied in requirements of accommodation that are often simple enough, and cost little when planned in advance but sometimes overlooked due to perspective of designers.
For others it is not so simple. Yet understanding perspective takes a lot of the friction out of the equation.
Many unique. Many common. All differently similar. Humans.

"Something Big"

It didn't feel like Sunday
Didn't feel like June
When he met his silent partner in that lonely corner room
That over looked the marquee
Of the Plaza all-adult
And he was not lookin' for romance
Just someone he could trust

[Chorus:]
And it wasn't no way to carry on
It wasn't no way to live
But he could put up with it for a little while
He was workin' on something big

Speedball rang the night clerk
Said, "Send me up a drink"
The night clerk said "It's Sunday man, ...wait a minute
Let me think
There's a little place outside of town that might
Still have some wine"
Speedball said, "Forget it, can I have an outside line?

[Chorus]

It was Monday when the daymaids
Found the still made bed
All except the pillows that lay stacked
Up at the head
And one said, "I know I've seen his face
I wonder how he is?

The other said, "Probably just another clown
Workin' on something big"

I like the sounds Tom, and lead guitar player Brian Campbell, are gettin'
with Tom's British Rickenbacker guitar, Brian's Classic American Gibson
hollowbody (oops, that's not a Gibson, maybe also a Rickenbacker?),
and the chimey sounding, Classic British Vox amps...

Not bad at all, for recording live, and all them treasured,
happy actin' folks, makin' lots a spirited racket...

Relevent,

Nice follow up song selection.

Are ya' doin' right click, 'copy link'... :sunny: :fish:
:cross:

As in the past I click on the vid and then click on option from box of "get video URL". When clicked a blue box pops up to copy.(No copy link option per say.)
My guess is next computer update it will restore ability. Last time a problem occurred it was resolved next update.
(I peeked around at driver and such and all seems alright.)
Clicking gently here...

Hey, I'm not the tap, tapping all night character! Such a gentle touch too....oooops, ahh, glue should fix it.

I can't wait to see that table, she had once talked about...
Must be a treasured work of art. Probly even meticulously hand
carved too, since the fancy antique hardwood handled carving
chisels, are still out there somewhere...

That thought, still echoes through my mind, and the tap, tap, tappin' :toothy4:
most surely, was probly some serious hand carvin and fabricatin'... Reminds
me, of all the craftsmen and craftswomen at SDC, even handmade with
an axe, log cabin makin', out in the square, right there to the left,
inside of the main street entrance, before you get to the
blacksmith's (knifemakers etc., at that one) shop... :sunny: :fish:
