My wife and I spent some time at the beach today on Whidbey Island Washington (west coast) where we look for interesting rocks and she spotted this...
Probably nothing but was worth a photo.
Thanks for viewing :)

Definitely a Yeti....

Wow that is awesome. Bigfoot is close by..try to have someone analyze it

I see the footprint but I also see a lizard's head & paw/claw, or maybe just a snake's head on the rock at the top left. Or maybe a turtle head with its mouth open & tongue sticking out ?
Very interesting !! Thanks for posting !!

Oh....In that photo I was just showing how my foot fit inside the rock...didn’t see what was going with the rock nearby :)

Samsquanch for sure, be careful

That is IMO... an amazing find.

I hope you lugged that sucker home... if not... I would definitely go back and retrieve it.

You may have found something.

Gunna need a wheel barrel or a really strong wife to get that home

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Very neat. You could be on to something there. If nothing else, it would be a nice conversation piece if you can get it to your yard.

Its basalt! How you gonna get a footprint or a handprint in basalt?

It was a pretty heavy rock but I know where it is...I just need to figure out how to move it :)

That’s my very question. Basalt is basically a big glob of cooled lava, so either someone CARVED a footprint into that rock or someone way back in caveman days burnt their foot right off. If I were the OP I would alert the local university or someone who knows something about archaeology...THAT could be quite significant.

BTW Coinstar....you need a Minelab Equinox 800 to “cover your bases”. The Compadre is a lovable little guy, I have one. But you can do better with the other, ALOT better.

OMG, this is like the Oak Island thread.....

Obviously Knights Templar...

Exactly. I agree. The "Archies", as "CRUSADER" calls them, would love to take a look. They live for that stuff. Could be other things in that area also.

First thing my eye was drawn to when I first looked was the "lizard rock," too! I agree, someone lost their foot if they stepped in the hot lava! Thanks for and interesting post!
