🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Does anybody know what this is?

Hi everyone!!
I found this little lead peice last week and have no idea what it was used for. It has an I going through a C and co on both sides.

Part of a bottle stopper for cologne or perfume bottle.

I think it is the stopper for an old glue tube, similar to the one shown here:

Here is another. Not all had the spreader on them. This one is still stuck in the metal tube top.

I knew I saw one of these a short while back....a 2020 post here on t net. Creskol made the ID. Here is a pic of that one.

Might the lettering be for the Carter Ink Company (CICo)? Among their stationery product range, I know they also had at least one glue, originally sold as "Carter's Mucilage".

I don't know. I was just throwing it out there as a possibility, given the initials, but haven't Googled to see if there was a matching Carter's product.
