can't seem to find a bank to order...
Chase was a VERY hard nut to crack, at least for me.

The 3 branches I had order for me ordered the first batches with no problem but didn't seem to want to hear anything of additional orders, bringing up the F word to get me to go away.

I have 1 branch that is ordering for me weekly now. I used them as a dump 3 times ($500 each), buth the last time I was there and tried buy a box of dimes, they agreed to order for me if I agreed not to dump there anymore. This branch ordered for me for 3 weeks before starting the cut-off conversation. I asked about cutting my order in half and the head teller agreed to that. But now a few weeks after that we're right back up to my original order of 8 boxes a week, 4 halves and 4 dimes. This teller just got a dunkin donuts GC last week.

I ordered 4 boxes from a Chase bank on Monday, picked up the boxes yesterday. Interesting boxes they ship in the 5x10 flat box as opposed to the 5x5x2 cubes. Their carrier is Garda as opposed to Brinks for my other banks.

"I have 1 branch that is ordering for me weekly now"

that is the key words... hard to get them to do that... but will try them out

Really guys?...Chase is the only place I have ever ordered them..I mean I give them a BS story about my kids and fund raisers and all that jazz...but they dotn hesistate to order me one..i just call them and they call me when its there...i think it has to do with alot of things..the person your are dealing with..and they way you approach the matter..im not one to order 5plus boxes either..i order 1 or 2 at a time from a few different Chase banks...but i have never had any issues....my main issue is my dump bank who has to change there bin about every 4 hours

Good Luck

they said no to ordering weekly unless i had a business account... i want a bank to order me 4 boxes a week! grrr

I think it all depends on the merchant window teller or whoever does the ordering. Each bank has limits to based on their size and the discretion of whoever does the ordering. Like the Chase I went to I had asked for teller halves b4 and then they were like why dont you just order some you've already cleaned us out....so I said ok sign me up for 4 boxes please. I don't even have an account there but I am going to make one and get the merchant teller credit for it. Thats the least I can do and use the ATM once a month for lunch or something to keep it transactional.

Chase has told me that they can't order for me -- no ifs, ands, or buts. :dontknow:

I think it depends on where you are. I asked at Chase a couple of years ago and was told that the computer won't let them order halves. The head teller said that she tried to order some for someone else and when she processed the order, the number changed to 0 for halves. A few months later, she told me that they received a memo stating that "half dollars and large dollar coins are no longer considered circulating currency and cannot be ordered". I made them my dump bank until my car loan was paid off (yes, I paid my car loan in halves).

Chase is tough to break as mentioned. I occasionally get $1K in halves from them. Mine come in a bag though.
