I had a "Senior Moment" and posted teepee circles, when I was to post mounds from the sky. However I noticed Smee has provided the forum with one of his Google finds.

I know about native mounds, not every thing but quite a bit. Some mounds were simply trash. Example (Spiro Mounds in Oklahoma.) They were not used for graves. They threw away broken pots ect. in them. But some mounds were for graves. Would you want your grave dug up? If it were me I would look around for artifacts but not dig the mounds. Just my feelings on this.
