Does anyone know what this is?

It says 1144 SUMMER LUCID GUN
it's a blue can about 5 inches tall, with no other identifying labels on it. I don't want to open It but I'm very curious as to its contents. I found it in an old abandoned house. Everything else in the house is dated to about 1965

Probably just a white/clear lubricant grease for a gun turret or something.
It's not going to blow up-contaminate you.
Just go outdoors take the lid off.
Anything from decommissioned from the military has had gone through the hazard waste division.
