Does anyone recognize this ring?

[MassBK]

I found this today...does the symbol look familiar to anyone? There are 2 inscriptions inside of the ring, one looks like "300" in an oval...the other I cannot read until it is cleaned, but it has a 4 in it

Ugly ring. It reminds me of a twisted wire design ring I have. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,212592.0.html

Any chance of getting a macro pic of the inscriptions?

Could it be .800? 1934-1944? http://www.925-1000.com/Fitalian_marks_01.html
