YES! It is a fantastic pinpointer. Purchase with confidence. I have given several to the combat vets I work with, and have been using mine for almost three-years now.

Just wondering if anyone has used it or knows someone who has. My Garrett has failed me and I need to send it in for repairs. However I'm not opposed to getting the Minelab and having a back up as well.
The grey one
Probably the most useless pinpointer that I own.
Lent it out on hunts for a back up, well that is one useless pinpointer Jim.
These folks are seasoned veterans that hunt some seriously.

Thanks for your input Terry. Does it discriminate pretty well?

Good to know pepper. This one is black and yellow however. Maybe you are talking about an older one?

At least 3 years old and keeps taking a licking. I love the sensitivity adjustments on it. Able to locate a target on it's own at least two inches deep. Really helps when a great sounding target is reading 1-2 inches, but the PF-35 won't pick it up. Hasn't failed me yet in this way, because it is always a bigger target deep. ONLY issue I have is this sometimes loses battery terminal connections where it won't turn on without a little end tap. Most likely it is my rough use on it.
I own a black Garrett, and a Garrett Carrot, but with both of them the sound has stopped working and I've had sensitivity issues with them.

I have one, there great. High quality, never had any problems. Also works on small gold nuggets.
