Does the Max except the Nel coils?

I heard somewhere since it’s 18 kHz it’s not set up for the Nel coil. My Thunder coil chatters like crazy on any frequency.

I believe they do now since garrett retweaked them. Dont hold me to it tho.

Kurt from the hoover boys initally noticed that the storm did but the thunder didnt on their prototype maxes but after garrett retweaked them the thunder did work . he ddint mentiom anything about them being overly chatty tho.

The thunder on your at pro, do you run the straight up the shaft a foot before wrapping it around the pole ? I do it this way with any of my coils and i dont have any issues. But if i lay the detector down and the coil is facing any way but straight down it picks up signals in the air and gets chatty. I think its a very sensitive coil.

I normally do but I have to admit I didn’t this time. I have the Storm as well I’ll try them both. Thank you for the response.
