Dogtags

[XiZziD]

I think it is dogtags, but i want to know in which period they have been used, and it is military dogtags or something else?

I don't think that they are dog tags. Cattle ear tags.

Modern tags are kind of oval shaped. Here is one from WW1, thick aluminum with 2 holes, so as to lay flat on your chest.

Military dog tags have a name, number, maybe religion and other info about the individual. Your tags have just numbers, which is what livestock tags have on them

Seems to me that military dog tags would have the soldiers name on it.

I noticed this was your very first post XiZziD - so, Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

They look like tool tags

Or Miner tags. Something a miner would hang on a nail before going into the mine so that people would know if he ever came out
