Doin' my own "Pickin"

Headed south of homebase to an 1853 location, in the middle of nowhere. JD Rockefeller built a Standard Oil Pumping Station, it's currently under private ownership BUT the owner is gearing up to sell the place (5 historic buildings and 2 other buildings plus the land).

Anyway...he asked if I'd be interested in selling some of the goods he's collected over the years.

Sarcasm? well, kind of. They had an episode on "American Pickers" where the girl in the office called a glass top pump an "invisable pump". I guess you had to be there, eh?

I saw that episode and got a kick out of that.

But the funny thing is, last week I was out and about knocking on doors and saw one of those pumps in a back yard near a barn!

Couldn't track the owner down though... $:-\$
