So my bank teller TJ told me about an 1889 dollar coin someone had spent at his till awhile back as I was coin mining...
He had kept it because of its age and rarity...he always asks about what coins I find and so I was very interested in his find....I told him if he ever wanted to sell it I'd give him a dollar for it...I remember the other tellers burst out laughing when I said that...anyway today I went in to exchange quarters for more quarters and he brought his coin out and said "I'll give this to you for a dollar"....and explained it will just sit in the jar at his desk...I told him I usually like to collect only things I find and said if he ever wants it back to let me know...but I relented and gave him 4 quarters....I must say that the tellers and security at this bank in Seattle are exceptionally nice...
