Don Quiote metal sculpture

I found this don quiote metal sculpture in beacon ny over the summer on a pile of stuff that was on the curb in front of a house. I liked the way it looked and snatched it with a few other things. I will load more pictures when i get better cell service. Right now my phone is roaming and not allowing me to load any more pics. Under neath the base the artist engraved hus name and date. I will liad a picture when im able. The engraving under the base reads Don Quiote Ed Kowalski and dated 5/27/70. Can anyone provide me with info about this piece the artist and possible value? I did a google search and couldnt find much. I looked on ebay and saw some similar looking sculptures. Could this have been made in an art class? Once again sorry i could not get all the pics up. I will once i get better service.
