I used to use a Skidoo PVD while scuba diving to fan away the sand and found it works well for snorkeling to cover more area, but this one is an improvement.

Casper - What is the battery life and have you had any "leakage" issues? I love these things for moving sand etc. but have had huge problems with leaking. I owned the ski-doo sea scooter and it worked great for the first few times, then leaking occurred. I did all sorts of modifications to no avail. I ended up throwing it away. I also am disappointed in their warranties. Everyone of these DPV's I've looked at only carry a 1 year warranty. In Minnesota, that is only good for 3 - 4 months of diving.
