I spent a couple hours this evening swinging my MXT in the mountains here in Bedford VA and dug up this weird thing. Any guesses? Could be a funny shaped bullet that looks like a big tooth.

The little serrations at the top almost look like a hollow point that failed to expand but no rifling is visible. The color is odd but the shape is right. Almost wonder if it could have been fired from a muzzleloader with a sabot. With no measurements it would be shot in the dark, pardon the pun. Try posting some more pics with measurements or at least something to reference size. Put it in the "What is it" forum about three below this one. Amazing how good some of the members are at nailing ID's on such. I may be way off.
