Don’t listen to the others, TD can order half dollar rolls

Or at least they did for some irate customer who never came to pick them up.


Earlier today I was dumping at a TD when the teller told me she had some half dollars. I was expecting a few to be sitting in her tray but when I got to the counter she said they were in rolls. So then I was expecting some CWR but she pulled out $180 in the old black and white skunk look wrappers. I asked her about the TD not ordering halves policy, she said that another teller told a customer they could order halves and when the customer came back and didn't get halves he got angry and they put in a special order just for him but he never came back to pick them up. I won’t be able to post results until later tonight.

Sounds more like a teller screwed up and promised something she shouldn't have. I'm sure they CAN order halves, but every one I have ever asked said they WONT order them.

I'm not expecting anything out of these rolls. My normal pick up banks have the yellow and white wrappers but every once in a while the banks I visit specifically for CWR will have loose rolls or a box of the black and white. Out of the thousands of black and white rolls I've gone through I've found 1 40%.

So the black and white wrappers again some smell to them.

I'm getting two boxes of the yellow and white wrappers today so hopefully they smell better.
