You aren't kidding. People for better or worse always take valuables to church sales. Hey, if they want to sell I'll buy. And I'll give them a free blessing and Godspeed.

I got all excited. I thought someone found the Lord! I don't think I've ever seen a church sale around here. Must be an east cost thing. Monty

I go to them when I can, seems the church ladies just don't like to budge on a price. "Well thats what it is marked, I can't change it"

Now high school sales are different, especially sports related. Guys usually run them and they just want to sell things. Got a Lego bin & Nike shoe box crammed with Lego for $2 this last Saturday. Pop Warner fund raiser ant local H.S.

This is a Graphex camera. It was the Mercedes of cameras back in the 1940's.
The price was several hundred dollars new. I got one at a garage sale a few months ago for $5 and it is in perfect condition. Looks like a studio camera, not all banged up like a newsreporter's camera.

Great find on the Graflex. Mine is a Korona Compact. Compact has changed some in the last 100 years!

Good shot of that camera. Too bad it need the lens board. I bet you could take the lens off my graflex, modify the board and it would work on your camera if the bellows was not extended too far.
