Don't wink at me

I did a one hour hunt down the street where nothing can be found, here are some pix, less all the trash. Forgot to say the bent aluminum tag is a State of New Jersey weights and measures tag. The Indian Head cent is a pretty 1903!

Enjoy the pix

Here is the back of that button? (don't wink at me)

Nice Brad. Where would one use a token like that?

Looks like you scored on that short local hunt. Anytime I pull a keeper, it's considered: time well spent.

That was my question exactly! :icon_scratch:
When I pulled it out of the ground, I immediately thought it was a flat button, when I rubbed the dirt off to read it I thought that doesn't seem like mid 1800's? Seems like something you'd hear in the 1960's? Is it a button? Is it a token? I love the mystery's of metal detecting.

Neat button ;)
Do you think? There was something on the back but it doesn't look like any kind of shank Iv'e seen on flat buttons?

Different kind of statement and on a token. Interesting stuff, Congrats!
Thanks, I love how that writing looks on that button/token.

I don't know that it is a button. Maybe a pin? I just thought you were calling it a button, but now I see you are unsure.

Great to get out.
I was planning on going out today,
but it snowed last night. Bummer.
Congrats
The snow stopped me in my tracks too, thanks.
