Dorky's Third hunt...weird bullets? any thoughts?
Okay, so I dug another large bullet, but it looks rather plain, like a large chunk of lead, but no grooves, looks like a fired bullet.
Then, at the same depth, in the same area (about 4.5"down), I found two of these what look to be "tiny bullets", it looks like a casing, but the underside is dished...not a rimfire cartridge...hmm, maybe some of you folks can shed some light.
Also, some junk from the farmhouse....no coins today....d.d.d.d.dangit...
Dorky guy.
I saw the eagle on this thing, but soon found it to be some part of a modern item, perhaps a knife or tool?
A few good hours of hunting, no good treasure, but some different stuff.
FYI, I hunted with RELIC setting without any tweaks. I found it to be noisier, and I dug more nails and junk...but it gave me more signals to dig. HMMM, can't decide if I like standard coin and jewelry or Relic better....I am still learning, but thought I'd share.
thanks
