I recently got a tip on a site that had a 1700's house on it and decided to head out one evening for about an hour. The heat has been horrible in SC recently, and that's about all the time I have before I become a puddle.

First signal was a KGIII copper. Right off the bat, this place exceeded my expectations. Then, a few holes later, I dig an SC button. The yard was really badly infested with iron, so I had to go over it very slowly with the small coil. By doing that, I found yet another SC button in the midst of the ferrous metals.

I ended the day with a bale seal and was very satisfied with my finds. Not bad for an hour hunt.

HH and thanks for looking!

Not bad at all! Those are sweet buttons. Congratulations on what should be a great site.

You had a good hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:

Real nice. I like finding those South Carolinas.

Goes to show how making use of any time we have to hunt is worth taking advantage of. Congrats on your finds!

Those are a couple of nice buttons, there's probably more great relics mixed in with the iron....good luck-JB
