In reading a 1940's news article this morning...I deduced the location of an 22.5 acre public lot nobody cares for anymore.
Land records go back to 1831. The local school district purchased the land and much was never developed. I swung my sore ass arm for 10 minutes and found the rosie, so imbedded in a tree root I had to scrape it out....thus the scratches. Banging 46 on my Legend.....as was the pretty Merc nearby. Yay! Modern money all over.

I recognized John Deere immediately. There were lots of them around at one time. Their 2 cylinder put-put was unique among tractors. I drove a big one on a farm, raking hay, when I was a teenager.
