Yes, it get's even more interesting because, a copper treasure map was found giving information about gold and silver caches in specified amounts. On the map each cache had a distance code containing Hebrew letters along with some Greek characters. Map described another copper map with interpretation to the code for distance. The Greek letters don't mean anything unless you know what numbers are represented. Map was dated at least 2,000 years old by archaeologists.
King Solomon did a lot of business with an Egyptian Pharaoh and traded copper from mines for gold, with surrounding nations. The copper treasure map was made after priests escaped during an invasion through the escape tunnel King Solomon had made. If the statue has any Greek letters on it next to the Hebrew, it very well could be a marked having a distance code to hidden treasure.

Originally, the Copper Scroll consisted of three sheets of copper, totaling approximately 2.3 meters in length. Due to its material, it was rolled up and later had to be cut into 23 strips for scholars to read its contents, which are inscribed in Hebrew Mishnaic dialect. The content of the Copper Scroll is particularly fascinating as it describes vast amounts of buried treasure hidden in various locations throughout the Judean wilderness.
Not a recent find (has been around for decades) but it took a serious treasure hunter to get a legit search underway.
