Randi told everyone that the odds were slim that someone could guess their way through his challenge. Why would he say this, I wonder?

Possibly, that is all Randi said. The article is base on hearsay as it is. I noticed the one writting that rant didn't bother to put any of Randi's statements as quotes.

The author of this rant even when as far as to call the Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas...tacky

Hearsay and third-party information is all dowsers really rely on anyway, right? I mean, "My uncle's brother's nephew's barber found a dollar bill on the ground one day when he was holding his dowsing rods, so I ran right out and bought me some, too!"
