Went back to the torn down house, they finally removed the foundation and I was able to get two nice silver dimes "1897 O Barber & 1941 Mercury", " that's the first Merc I've found since I've been in Indiana I found 3 barbers before I found a mercury", lol and a Victorian silver plated ring out of the thick heavy mud. Maybe I'll be able to get some more silver when it drys up. The ring has a U with a arrow through it on the inside band "any ideas??" Also found 3 wheats " 41' 52' 56' " , a copper buckle & a older marble.

The ring is a cocktail ring was made by Uncas jewelry company from the 1910's toto the 1920s. It more than likely had a blue or green stone, that seems to be the color of the style back then.. Thanks everyone for looking and Thanks to CW0909 who pointed me in the right direction to identify it :-)

Those are some awesome silver finds! Congrats on the key date!
Hope you find a lot more!

Thanks so much everyone!! :-)

Great start to the season congrats!

Thanks girl! Have you been out hunting lately? .... Snow may have kept me from detecting but I'm back with a vengeance... lol :-D
Yep,we went last week, found a little kepi hat buckle and a few other items that may be a little later than Civil War era. Hopefully going in a bit but this couch is quite comfy.

Looks like you got into a really nice spot. I am a little jealous. All the Barber designed coins are my favorites, and it has been awhile since I found any. Congratulations!

BTW, that is a good date on a Barber dime. Couple of hundred.
