Dragoon Vest Button, Bullets, Shells and a Buckle

A 19mm Dragoon vest button, 44cal Henry and a 56-56 Spencer Raised "H" Head Stamp. Winchester Shells. The Buckle I have no clue? Thanks for looking.

Lots of AWESOME finds, would love to have a site that produced like that, I would go back with a fine tooth comb and look for any hiders!!!

Hi My Fellow TH'ers
You sure have a nice mix of finds there. Those shell casing with the center fire are post Civil War the 'H' markings are from Henry Shells. I believe the Henry shell casings are post Civil War but I know Henrys were used in the Civil War. Your Eagle buttons are very nice and the one sized between a cuff and jacket may be a cloak button. Very nice finds you have made. I do wonder what state you found these in. The 'I' Eagle buttons are super finds.

Cool finds. Patent No. 22506 seems to be a car sear or couch. I wonder if the patent is from another country or part of the seat. I don't think they had seat belts back then!

I think we are looking at two different things. I'm looking at the item in the first photo, second row down fifith item across.

Number is 22808, not 06.

First I correct my error, number is 22508. But looking at the other buckles it may be 06. And I stand corrected if a magnifying glass shows it is a 6.

Second, the two buckles in the link have a patent date, not patent number. The date on the two buckles reads "PAT.12.25.06". That would, of course be 25Dec1906. Christmas Day at that.

And the numbers on this buckle may read, "PAT.2.25.06". You just can't see the dots in the photo. That would make a date of 25Feb1906.

I have the exact same buckle on a pair of leggings. I assume they are WWI gaiters.
