The round pre-slug was obviously not in the correct place when the die hit it :)
Somehow this got out into circulation ? Im interested in any and all opinions.
Im into coins and all, but errors arent my thing. Thanks !

Thats a VERY nice off center strike. My 2003 red book lists it as having a value of $3.50, in either copper or zinc. I'd hold onto it... really don't need the $3.50 THAT bad, do ya? But still, 350 times face value ain't bad! Where'd you pick this one up?

I've been looking for one for years, never even come close to the one you got, my best is probably 10 percent off center.

You'll get priceless hours of value out of it by being just a conversational piece; something you just happened to pull from your pocket.

Absolutely ! I plan on hanging onto it. Thanks for the info Jeffro.

I have it sitting on a cedar box I use to hoard my silver :) So every time
I go into that or add to it, I pick it up and play with it LOL.

Thanks again.
