Since Im new to this hobby, Im still routing around Phoenix and alot of the banks I enter are for the first time.

Entered one last week (I get 2 boxes dimes a day(M-Sa)) brought it home and I found 5 in the first box! I thought it was a dream box since it was a record for me. 2 in one roll too. BUT..my 2nd box yielded 10 dimes!!! 3 in one roll, another 2 in one roll. No mercs though. At one point I was getting dissapointed if there was a blank roll. lol. Obviously I needed something to slow down heart rate.

IT GETS BETTER, kinda. Went back today for 2 more boxes to the same branch. First box, no silver, but 2 canadian dimes...and $25.00 extra DOLLARS IN DIMES...are you kidding me?!?! Who packages this stuff??? 2nd box yielded 2 silvers.

Anyone ever get any extra rolls of dimes, especially $25.00 extra. My guess is the "box guy" at the rolling facility crammed 11 in each row and miscounted. I will be returning to this branch and ask the cutie tellers to get me the oldest boxes that have been in the vault because those first 2 boxes were sick! 15 dimes for 2 boxes.

Okay...First, this is called coin roll hunting. A box of dimes will cost you $250.00, go into your bank and ask for a box of dimes and get some empty dime rolls as well. Next, all you have to do is split the roll and look at the edges to see if there's any silvers. Take the non silver dimes, re-roll them and take them back to your bank to deposit into your account or get another box! You could be lazy about it and take the dimes to a coinstar to cash them in but you'll lose about 10 cents to the dollar doing that.

I think this is the wrong forum. There is a Coin Roll Hunting Section...Read the "Guide to CRH"..its mucho helpful
