Has anyone ever seen or heard of a dredge equipped with a trommel? There's a video where a guy has a suction hose set up going into a trommel like a highbanker/dredge combo, but I'm talking about an actual floating dredge with a trommel fabricated onto it.

Here's a quick drawn concept. Pretty bad quality because I took a picture of the paper I drew it on with my phone, sorry.

I see no reason for this contraption.
What does a trommel do?
A trommel washes rocks and classifies materials getting rid of oversized. The material that fits through is run through a sluice. A trommel is used to process raw dirt or classify.
A good dredge sluice will do the same thing just in a different way.
I see no benefit of this except for maybe breaking up clay better.
Over/under sluices seem a way better option with a lot less problems doing essentially the same job.
Be a neat thing to see though
