This pic was taken on November 20 on the Skokomish River in Washington. The tribes, wonderful stewards of the land, netted these salmon, stripped the eggs for the Japanese caviar market and dumped the rest including all the males. Nothing else was used or saved. All of this was done with the blessing of the State and Feds.
You should feel good about being locked out of the rivers so the salmon could be saved for this higher use.
Now someone please just try and lecture me about bashing the poor tribes.
