Yeah, and when I worked in the rental business, we had an account manager who used to do that to some of his late accounts.
Go by their house after hours and mess with them by sitting across the street in his car and ransomly turning the tv or stereo or vcr off and on or changing the channels.
Usually the mark would call for service ... and he would just repo them.
He also had a small electronic device that he would leave behind that would screw up anything receiving over the air signals. Even worked with some cable systems that were not properly shielded.
Call the next day, repo.
Once we were in traffic and the guy next to us was playing his music exceptionally loud. Coworker pulled out one of his toys and turned it on ... loudest buzzing I had ever heard. Think he may have even damaged the dude's speakers. Guy thought his stereo was gone and turned it WAYyyyyy down.
