Love the patina on that coin. Good luck finding eight more indians!
 

Always like your posts, GFE, especially your finds sitting on top of the maps you used to find your hunt spots.

I've found two of those President suspender buckles here in far-northern California. Both of mine have patent dates of August 1892. The patina on yours is quite a bit different, and I'm wondering if you cleaned it, or if your dirt is kinder to brass? Maybe they're different styles, but from what I can see of yours (even incomplete) they look the same.

all I did was rinse it with water. The soil here is pretty kind to brass and copper
