Sam and I got out early this morning to start on a house
built around 1900. 32 degrees made it interesting, but
the hunt MUST go on.
10 minutes into the hunt I pulled my very first Indian
Head out of a 5 inch hole. YYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

Later i got a faint reading that sounded promising so I
zeroed in and the machine said 10 inches, out come the
shovel. One very large plug and at the bottom, in full view,
a nice little button with the back marking "Superior Standard".
Next, I was digging a one cent signal and lost it completely.
Couldn't find the signal after the hole was dug. What the $%$@!!!
After 5 minutes, I gave up and filled the hole. When I picked
up my shovel, There was a 1941 penny stuck to the mud on
the face of the shovel.

Sam and I finished up, and I headed to meet Howard at a
1950ish home I just got permission for.
right off the bat, I got a 1964 dime......SQUEEEEEEEEEK!!!
Next were two 1959 pennies in a row.

Now I know that my meager finds are not much for most of
you, but after hunting civil war field, and not finding but a
few coins, this was a Great hunt for me.
And to you regular house hunters, my hat is off to you all.
All that junk you have to pick through is amazing. In the fields,
if we hit it, we dig it, because there is not much out there.
Anyway, thanks for reading and Good hunts to all!!!
