Dug this up the other weekend

a real nice and thin citrus preform. My buddy found a cache of 3 citruses 5 foot away same material and thinness. Maybe there more there, I`ll find out shortly

Nice find Central florida looks like some real easy digging.Here in Mo. digging isn't that easy it is a lot of work.Congrats on your find

thanks, the material is just a local chert from that area. I was gonna oil but decided I like the patina on it and will leave it like that.Might give it to my buddy who found the points to go with his cache.

Great photo and nice blade. I like caches as I have only found one. Maybe there are more looks like a great place to sift. Be nice if you could pump the water to it being sand,,,
