Relic Hunting
Made a hunt at an old house site today. The house was moved, and contractors are clean the lot of getting ready to put in a store, and gas station. Didn't do a well as I thought I would, but It was a nice hunt. The nickle is a 1941, and the quarter is 1965. The Midol box was made of metal.

Here's the story......based on some of the items found.

"Its 1941......rumors of war with Japan are in all the papers. The gentleman of the house
comes home from the shipyard and is upset that his dinner isn't ready and on the table. The
housewife (who is in a testy mood due to her bloated state from "the time of the month" is taking
a Midol). She bends over setting the table and a button pops off of her blouse. He makes a wise
crack about her putting on a few extra pounds from lying around all day. She quietly goes to the
bedroom and retrieves his S&W 32 revolver. Returning to the dining room she calmly puts
six shots into his back as he sits eating his dinner. She packs her bag, locks his dog in the
bedroom, sets the house afire.....and drives to Cleveland Ohio....to live out her remaining life
with her sister. :coffee2:
