Dumping Where You Eat...

Just asking who all does this? Not same branch you pick up at (OBVIOUS no-no). I pick up BofA boxes & dump most at other non-PU BofAs. Finding a good amount of silver. My logic: others bring in sealed bags to deposit that aren't cherry picked by tellers -> silver goes back to boxes.

i do periodically (into coin machines) to "flush" out any silver that may have been turned in... those coins, i have found thru marking, back to me almost immediately

One bank chain stopped feeding me so a while later I started lightly dumping at a few of there other branches, shortly later I get a letter in the mail saying my account had been closed. Needless to say, I was not impressed.

I do not do it, I dump into a separate bank with a different carrier, apparently some people do in my area, or close to it, I have been getting repacks from another branch of my pick up bank shipped to mine lately. I asked today about it because I got 2 more repacks delivered today and they had writing on them again on top saying where they were from, I asked the vault teller where these kept coming from, she said that is a branch way over on the other side of town, an hour away almost. She said someone must be turning them in there then Brinks is shipping them out again, oddly, these boxes today had some coins in them that I marked about 8 months ago and sent out, about 8 in the box, but they were in the black and white rolls, again rolled back down very tight almost undetectable that they had been searched, still don't get why people try and hide the fact that they searched the rolls. Now I do order from a branch of my dump bank( just 1) that I don't dump at. . HH, Maverick.

I have been dumping in Orlando, can't get rid of the cents fast enough here... I hope that gets the zincs out of my area. Halves are churned a lot in my area so I just dump locally at different banks and branches... not worth driving far away for them.

For several reasons, I am one that violates the "rule" and I dump my boxes right back to the same branch at which I bought them. First off, the bank just nearly insisted that I do this. Second, this is small town America. The same Loomis truck picks up and delivers to every branch of every bank within 50+ miles of me. Regardless of where I buy or dump, its all coming from/going back to Loomis. I would love to get my rejects out of my "system", but that just isn't an option. With that said, I have dumped hundreds of plated, holed, stickered, etc coins that I would recognize if they returned. I have never seen one of these coins a second time. Not that it would matter...as I said, I have exactly 1 option for both buying and dumping.

I only dump $250 of coins at a time at any one bank. If I don't have any half boxes to pick up, I'll get my $250 back in the form of dimes instead of cash.
