Wow !!! Great find ! November 11th was "Veterans Day" here in the U.S. Chances are good the ring belonged to a WW2 veteran & was
lost during the War. I would suggest you "DO NOT" polish it. Leave it as it is. It has more character & projects it's age & historical value if you just leave it
as it was found. Fantastic recovery of a long-lost personal item from a historical period of time. Congratulations !!!

Nice find! :icon_thumleft: Very cool ring.

Great find!
E pluribus unum —Latin for "Out of many, one"

Nice ring. I guess there are no initials inside the ring?

Love it . Beautiful silver ring find. Congrats

Looks like it may be a Aviators ring.....Awesome find..

Great find. I found a ring just like it several years ago. According to some, there would have been some kind of military branch insignia on top. 20181114_200618_Film1.webp

This ring would have had the U.S. Great Seal eagle escutcheon attached to the front blank. Nice find. WW2 era ring.

Sweet ring! Looks unique! Great Find!

I believe I found your ring since each style has a slight variation it seems. This one seems to be an exact match, the US Marines logo is missing obviously. But the details are identical other than that.
