This Eagle (with an A on the shield) was found at old homesite near two block A Confederate Artillery Buttons, and one Virginia cuff button. No other military items found, but early 19th century relics were abundant. I've never seen a SOLID one . . . so I suspected Civilian. Can anybody confirm, please? No backmarks, just stars.

Not my saves though I sorely WISH! I posted for the farmer on whose land they were found. Thanks for the ID guys. SOLVED.
