That used to be me!!

I understand, the guy in my avatar has gained about about 40 lbs and turned 60 since that picture was took. He did quit smoking 10 years ago but could smoke a boxcar load of Marlboro's from now till bedtime...d2

Very nice Eagle A button Joe. There was a lot of action on Mary's Heights. Behind the stone wall was Gen. Cobb's division (Georgia). Most of these troops were of Irish descent, and it was some of these troops that inflicted heavy casualties on the Federal Irish Brigade. So sad. Fellow countrymen from another country, now fellow countrymen in the U.S. slaughtering one another in a Civil War. War has never been civil, nor will it ever be.

Here is another one that came home. found this on Md. Heights March 31st 1990. I can't remember that guy holding button! Just got it back yesterday.

I love the button but I like the picture more 'I think' ???

I used to look kinda like that , Mullet , & still have my Camo jacket 's , lol Just noticed you were giving the 'Napoleon' look with the hand in yr coat , just like pictures of the Civil War Soldiers.

You can not be Older than Me by much.

I can only Wish that I detected back then, even if just at lunch (while working on the Homes that now cover Most of West Cobb Co. & it's Civil War sites.).

This makes me want to go get some 'Red Man' or Copenhagen , Why? Oh the memories.

Yes, the memories. My brand was Levi Garrett, Red Man, or in a pinch, Beechnut. But I never adorned a mullet. That was a little past my era. Lol

Ya know Joe, being a Possumcop and all, I have to ask.... Let me see ya "Mullet" fishing license please sir... :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:

That's a nice button for sure, glad you got it back along with the breastplate.
I still have some of that old camo, the old military pattern was good enough for the deer woods til "tree bark" came along(your hat). I'm like Davers, I wish I had been detecting back then as well.--JB
