They were common, not all button had a backmark. some were brass and others tin. you can tell the tin they rusted pretty bad. but still nice finds.

This one is brass. A little bent but complete and in good shape otherwise. I will put up a picture when I get home.

I have found many of them over the years. Always good to get an eagle.
