How cool! when the Triangle building was a baby, it was an octagon gazebo! These are great buckshot! so many buildings come and gone, but I recognise a few, I think.

Yes, that's correct. The triangular lot that the gazebo sat on would become the future site of what we now know as the Triangle Bldg. It's neat to see the town as it was back in those days and how it's changed over the years...

I love that last pic., buckshot......Can you imagine how neat it was to see the streets filled with horses and buggies? And wouldn't it be fun to metal detect where the Triangle Building is now?! Think of all the things that the Indians and Oilmen lost in the streets of Pawhuska .
Here's a postcard that I found at a garage sale---it is 15" long and shows Kihekah street looking south and its a 'tinted' postcard(I had to crop it down into two pictures because its a panoramic scene). The picture was taken by Mr. Constantine and the postcard was made in Germany.
Thanks for posting all these pictures of Pawhuska---I'm really enjoying them!

Neat, there was a "mr. constantine"! I'm really enjoying these too. The wooden structures are gone, there in your last pic, that's where the Pocket Park is now. We've had fun with the flood pictures, imagining how trapped the townspeople were. buckshot has a bunch of these, but it's nice to see them as big as a computer screen. very nice post card sandcreek~!

The last postcard view taken in front of the Duncan Hotel is a neat pic. I just look at that scene and try to imagine what it must have sounded like at the time.
The panoramic view you posted is really a neat view. Thanks for sharing it and anymore you may want to add...

Does anyone know if the old Wood Grocery Store is in any of these pictures, or where it was located? I am looking for a picture of the old Grocery Store. My husbands great grandparent ran the store.
