Prospecting
Me and Karen buy stuff for ourselves each year bout this time, so our season has begun. Different I know but it works. I got a 2017 muscle car calendar for the shop (and still waiting for) and a shop clock along with the holy grail of Prospecting. I searched for used books and found Fists Full of Gold...and got virtually a new copy for 19.95 delivered. The shop clock? If you like pinups and are a child of the 50's, well you know...pure gold. What's on your list?

Don't have the data to view the video, but did you ever try using 1/4" tubing?

I did but it collapsed as I finished stopping the vacuum leaks @ the head. It's why I went to steel tho brass would have been lighter...couldn't find one threaded tho.

You should be able to find all sizes and diameters of brass nipples at your local hardware store. ACE normally has a good selection. Can get in steel or brass. Then for your hose, can get reinforced hose. it has strings weaved through the plastic, but shouldn't be as prone to collapse. Of course, could also go with a more rigid main stem and then have only a short (2" to 6") hose on the end.

Well, a lot of the material is basic. I'm going a different approach - skimming through all pages, but highlighting the areas I'm most interested in to start with. Then later I'll go back and read more carefully. But then that's just me. I seem to grasp things better that way.

OK! I confess! I'm going to the good parts! Gonna try one more trip this year on Wed and need to know it all now! :icon_study:
